DILLTANK dservs it. :)

Ok guys, as you know Dilltank has left TFG. i had a good talk to him and he sais he gets treated like crap even after hes on there 24/7, i told him i will get him admin, and he was sayin that he shud get admin, IGG had promised him to give himk admin soon as he gets on.
But why cant he get it on tfg.
he had told me what another member had said to him to make him leave. and thats just not on. Ice cube if u want to know who it was ask em on a PM. So yeah if we can dilltank admin i would be pleased otherwise hes leavin tfg.

Dude, TFG has plenty of admin already. If people are saying shit to him, then he should take it up with Ice and Hyk and things should be dealt with accordingly. He should not need admin as incentive to stay.

Heck, I was offered admin and everyone said yes. And I've turned it down because I think there are plenty of admin already.

And NO ONE should get the right to say they "should get admin" unless they are one of the clan creators/owners. Members never have the right to say they deserve admin. Even if they have been a member from the start and always follow rules and show support and do everything right etc. Saying that you should get admin makes you look egotistical and it's almost as if you think you're better than all the other members...

If you'll notice, I did comment on the fact that he asked for admin himself rather than someone else nominating him. I was reluctant to give him a yes. Do you not read my posts?

Also, Rhino also didn't just leave because some member gave him some crap.

may i just say despite all this Dilltank shinanigans.. to clear things up about me?
I thought i'd see how i'd go and i want admin for the right reasons (not saying Dilltank doesnt/didnt)
Also despite getting some plesent yes votes which im very happy for! as Scarlet and Ninja have mentioned to me there is enough admin for now, and i am happy to wait providing for more members to join and more opinions as to wether or not i should get it.

If that's the way he's gonna be, then good riddance as a clan member. Not saying he shouldn't come help populate the server but if that's how he's going to be then you might just be better off not having him as TFG.

leaders, captains and only fewer other members without rankings have admin... we keep it at a minimum for a reason. so it does not get out of hand.

i dont even know how DILLTANK had got in the clan in the first place and hykariki said to me he did not want him in the clan YET to start with...

like Ice cube said, he left us for another clan for the privillage of admin.
and personally in our server he does not deserve it at all.

for starters he hadnt done anything for the clan before he left.

go to announcements, you'll see an application for admin in there... no more posting for admin. PM Ice Cube and talk to him. otherwise they will just be deleted

Aaand, exactly Semi. Just because someone has played on the server for less than 2 weeks is not enough to warrant a "he has been with us from the start". By that logic, technically, most of us have been here from the start. A lot of which have contributed far more than dilltank. Should they all be given admin? I don't think so.


The general consensus is no. And he's gone to IGG. End of discussion.

ok this may sound like a long winded post but bear with me.

Just a bit of history

Prior to me being a part of TFG I was the Head Admin of a Zombie riot server, and before I got admin i had to write a Show Cause post to the owner stating why i though i deserved admin and why, that i had to give specific reasons on justifying why i should get admin.
Firstly there was a trial period then after that full admin, then later made up to be head admin.
Scarlet was right in what she said about the number of admins per membership, whether that be 1 admin for every 15 members or 1 in 10 is neither here nor there, but the principle is good.
Another good reason for someone getting admin outside of this is if they are a member and regular player who if frequently on at times when other admins are not, and that there are players on who take advantage of this absence to abuse people on or server rules, this i think is a good reason for that regular member to be granted admin.

On the point of "waiting" and having some patience, I was on the DOA server for more than 10 months, i had asked about becoming a member for about the last 3 to 4 months of that and still no answer, i was still happy to play on their server because the reason i was there was to have fun and i enjoyed the server.
The same applies to people who come on our server, we want them to come here and have fun, if they like the server and the people on it fantastic, if they want to become members of TFG because they like the server ... even better.
Down the track when we look at increasing the number of admins, it is from this group of people, who are here because they like the server and the players/members on it ... who show they themselves abide by the rules, it is these players who i think deserve admin access.

regarding DillTank, i think he is a decent guy, if he wanted to join IGG to help them out and at the same time get admin, that is his choice to make and shouldnt cop crap over it because when he is in our server he plays by the rules and is a fun person to game with.
If DillTank is getting abused, just like any player he has the right to not have to cop that and should PM Ice Cube or one of the other leaders.
